While it all looks pretty and romantic to many, it isn’t the case when it comes to our sensitive skin. Since all of us have a different skin type, it’s all the more necessary to care right for the skin.

The downpour in the last two days has not only made us work from home but also gave us some major boredom while we sit by the window looking at the amount of rain flooding all the areas in the city. And while it all looks pretty and romantic to many, it isn’t the case when it comes to our sensitive skin.

Since all of us have a different skin type, it’s all the more necessary to care right for the skin. What might work for summers might not work for monsoon. But if you think the basics could be avoided in your monsoon skincare routine, then you’re absolutely wrong. Surprisingly, there are a few skincare routine mistakes that all of us have been making knowingly and unknowingly and we’re here to give you a lowdown on the same.–The first and most common mistake that we all tend to make is to stop using sunscreen thinking the clouds are out and the sun can no more affect our skin. Nope! The clouds are sure out but they certainly can’t protect us from the harmful UV rays. Apply sunscreen at all times. No matter what the weather.–Even if it’s pouring outside, there’s always some amount of humidity in the weather. And if you stepping out of the house with a not-so-dry skin is just fine, you’re only harming your skin. The humidity will mess up with your skin and clog your pores. Hence, pat dry your skin every single time.–It’s not hot anymore and so you might think it’s cool to avoid a step or two from your usual skincare routine. Hell no! Follow every single skincare step religiously. It hardly takes a few minutes. Don’t be a lazy bum.–It’s rainy season, doesn’t mean you stop using your moisturizer. Of course, you can switch the usual one with the one which has non-comedogenic ingredients since it’ll help you achieve acne-prone skin and let your skin keep the essential oils too.–When it comes to makeup, switch your products to the ones which are less oily and also the ones that are easily removable each night before bedtime.Try avoiding these skincare mistakes and give yourself healthy and fresh skin this monsoon.
