'Playboy' founder Hugh Hefner passes away at 91

It's quite obvious that 'Playboy' founder, Hugh Hefner was envied by millions of men and women. After all, Hugh was the man who had managed to introduce a completely different lifestyle through his Playboy mansion and 100's of beautiful and young women.

Much to everyone's shock and despair, Hugh passed away on Thursday, at the age of 91. His cause of death has not been revealed yet. Here's what 'Playboy's' Twitter handle uploaded today.



Cooper Hefner, one of Hugh's sons and the Chief Creative Officer of 'Playboy' Enterprises issued a statement post his father's death. The statement read as, "My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer and a leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time in advocating free speech, civil rights and sexual freedom. He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand, one of the most recognizable and enduring in history. He will be greatly missed by many, including his wife Crystal, my sister Christie and my brothers David and Marston and all of us at Playboy Enterprises."

Hugh had only 600$ with him which he used to start 'Playboy' in 1953 and transformed the brand it into a multi-million dollar empire which comprised of the iconic magazine, Playboy clubs, a jazz festival, TV shows and more.

"I would like to be remembered as somebody who has changed the world in some positive way, in a social, sexual sense, and I'd be very happy with that. I'm a kid who dreamed the dreams and made them come true," Hugh had stated to a leading American news channel.
