On November 8 what looked like just another day, suddenly changed the whole economy of our country. PM Narendra Modi on that day announced the demonisation policy which annulled the use of 500 and 1000 currency notes. One was left clueless as the currency notes now felt like paper money, with the lack of clarity from the official sources there was a lot of misinformation doing the rounds. Two days later people lined up in front of banks to get their money exchanged and the queues for the first few days compelled people to stand for hours without any good provisions. Banks requested their employees to put in some extra hours to accommodate the needs of common man.
However, things now look much settled, and the queues are now much smaller. Looking at the situation and the mixed responses in regards to demonisation, PM Modi tweeted a survey which one could take to express their opinions over his recent move.
