Nirav Modi who has been making the headlines for quite a few days for being at the centre of India's biggest banking fraud, has now reportedly turned down the summons issued to him by the CBI. As per the summon, he has been told to return back to India. However, Nirav replied by saying that he couldn't make it as he was too busy with his business abroad. Nirav has been accused of defrauding the Punjab National Bank of Rs 12,600 crore, with Rs 1,300 crore being added to the fraud kitty two days back. As of now, he has not divulged any information about where he is.

Nirav had been asked to return to India to appear for questioning. “I have business to run here. Won’t be able to join,” he replied. “It is mandatory for all the accused to join the probe,” CBI said and asked Modi to appear before it next week. The CBI further revealed that they may have to trace his location and extradite him back to the country. Well, we wonder what will happen next. Stay tuned for more updates.
