Soft and supple skin is everyone’s beauty goal. Right on time, we have discovered pumpkin, the unsung hero that can add a significant amount of glow to your dull-looking skin. Using this humble superfood in your beauty regimen can benefit your skin due to its omega 3 fatty acids rich profile. Pumpkin is a nutritional powerhouse as it contains vitamin B, magnesium, iron, and protein, which can moisturize your skin and wash off the suntan. This natural ingredient can clear out blemishes and give you younger-looking smooth skin. Pumpkin is accessible, easily available in the market and inexpensive. Now, that you know everything about pumpkin face mask, here’s how you can prepare it at home to boost your skin.

Take the desired amount of pumpkin puree and add one teaspoon of honey, apple cider vinegar and one-fourth teaspoon of nutmeg to it. Combine well and apply this onto your face. Wash it off once it’s dried completely.

Another great way to use pumpkin for face is to mix some mashed pumpkin with honey and yogurt. You may add a pinch of cinnamon powder, if you have acne issues. Apply the paste on your skin and once it is dried, start scrubbing the paste off your face, much like a face scrub but gently. Follow up with moisturiser to notice the difference.

Another hack is to combine pumpkin with raw honey and a beaten egg to form a runny paste. You can add a few drops of frankincense oil and apply the paste on your face till the neck area. After 10 to 15 minutes, it should be completely dry. Rinse off with a face wash and you’re done.
