We all live a hectic life which revolves a lot around travel to work, spending more than seven hours on a desk job and some time of the day even goes by on your phone. And while living through all of it, we don't realise how it's affecting our posture. No matter how much we take care of keeping our back straight, there will be a few hours of the day when we are unintentionally in a wrong posture which eventually leads to neck pain. And that's one kind of pain difficult to deal with. Hence, we're going to list down a few bad habits that leads to neck pain which you can avoid:

- Posture: Very importantly, you should always maintain a good posture. No matter what you're doing, be it walking, standing, sitting, simply start maintaining a good posture. If not, it will affect your body and lead to all kinds of aches.

- Sleeping position: You can also get a backache as well as neck pain if your position of sleeping is wrong. And this pain doesn't go away that easily as each night you sleep, you simply keep ruining your position even more. Sleeping on your stomach or with your neck elevated too high can lead to severe neck pain.

- Phone: The way we operate our phone depends a lot on the posture that we maintain. Make sure you have your phone elevated on your eye level at all times so that you don't bend your neck which can ultimately cause severe neck ache.

- Mattress or pillow: Your neck ache can also depend a lot on the kind of mattress or pillow you sleep on. Sleeping on a soft mattress is alright but if it is way too soft that you just melt into it then it isn't the best mattress option for you. The same goes for your pillow options too.
