India is a huge country with multiple cultures and diversity, so it is only natural that the food people consume will be different too. However, despite all the differences, a study has found that most Indian people are more inclined towards eating healthy food. They aren't as affected by how they look, they're more concentrated on what's healthy for them.

The study states, “Indians are choosing organic food, saying no to genetically modified food and are willing to choose a plant-based substitute for meat; most Indians are happy with their appearance and don’t have much faith in diet plans.” The study further shows that their main motive to exercise or workout is to be able to eat better. “Food is the key motivation for them to follow an exercise regimen and they would rather eat well than look emaciated”, the study states.

The study also mentions that, “due to sheer paucity of time, Indians plan to get groceries and food home delivered more frequently in the next one year.” However, it is also very likely that Indians will focus on eating healthy and cooking healthy food at home. The findings of these studies are from urban areas of the country. And they state that 57 percent of Indians have already switched to organic food or are claiming to do so. Well, do you fall in this category? Stay tuned for more updates.
