Rose brown highlights are the highlights you need this season!

Who doesn't love rose-gold, right? Well now, if you don't want to colour your hair a light rose-gold, Instagram and beauty enthusiasts already have an alternative for you! A new colour, 'rose brown' has taken over Instagram as the season's 'IT' hair trend and we're in love with it! Australian stylist, Thi Thao Tu recently showed off the colour on the Instagram and it's taken off just in time for summer. The look includes purply-red highlights on brown hair, making your head resemble a bed of roses.
"The look is easiest to achieve with light brown hair, especially if it has orange or red undertones," London-based colourist Josh Wood told a leading online portal. "But if your hair is darker, worry not. If you have dark brown hair, you can achieve the look by adding balayage (a technique for highlighting hair in which the dye is painted on in such a way as to create a graduated, natural-looking effect) to the ends," he added. "These tones don't last forever because they're just laying on the surface of the hair shaft, so caring for them is a must," he continued. To preserve the colour, use shampoo and conditioner designed to help the colour last longer and use a colour-safe hydrating mask once a week.
