The transition from winter to spring-summer means a whole lot of change in your style. We are talking about adding more refreshing colours, sunnies, bags and of course, kissing goodbyes to our winter boots to make room for comfy sandals. Beyond the ease of breathable sandals, the only thing that one has to worry about is having to walk around with chapped, dry heels. Let’s be honest, fissures on your heel are not only ugly but can be really painful at the same time.

But fret not, this doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your favourite pair. Treating your cracked heels isn’t rocket science nor you need to splurge on derma bills. On the other hand, there’s a host of home remedies that can help you but, let’s be honest who has the time to go around looking for ingredients. You need something quick and easy that works at the same time.

We have narrowed down some quick fixes for cracked heels that only requires a couple of minutes :

1.Just like the rest of your body, the feet require weekly exfoliation to maintain its smooth surface. Try using a pumice stone while you are in the shower to save some extra time.

2.Equally, like your body skin, even your feet need the hydration. So slather a dollop of your favourite foot cream with deep nourishing properties.

3.Wind-up your day with a quick at-home spa session by soaking your feet into a bowl of lukewarm water mixed with any foot soak salt and voila! Super-soft heels within 5 minutes.

4.Use feet mask at least once in a week, depending on your dryness.

5.Try wearing 100% cotton socks to bed, especially after applying moisturiser.
