To eat or not to eat; that is the question. Well, not all the time but when you're travelling you do have to keep what you eat in mind because it can directly affect the kind of experience you have. If you eat the right thing, you won't even have to worry about feeling hungry on your flight and god forbid if you eat the wrong food, all you'll want to do is run out of that flight as soon as it lands. So, if you're planning on taking a flight soon, here are some foods you should eat and avoid before taking it.

Foods to eat: Try to consume foods that are rich in nutrients, vitamins and most importantly fibres like avocados, quinoa, kale chips, chia seeds, peanut butter, crackers, smoothies and bananas. These foods are light and healthy and will keep you feeling satiated for long so you won't even feel hungry all that soon. Also, remember to drink plenty of water as you'll need to stay hydrated throughout your journey.

Foods to avoid: Avoid anything that could cause bloating like beans or legumes, say no to spicy foods and chips, avoid junk foods like pizzas and burgers since these may cause heartburn, garlic-based foods could cause bad breath and acidic reactions, alcohol and coffee could lead to headaches and dehydration and fizzy drinks like soda could also lead to bloating so avoid these.

Make sure to keep these options in mind and you'll end up having a pleasant flight. Stay tuned for more updates.
