Turmeric in itself has a lot of health benefits and it's been used for several medicinal purposes since a lot many years. This is one reason why the turmeric tea is so hyped about as it contains good amounts of vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Turmeric is commonly used in curries and sauces, which leaves a unique taste and flavour to the food. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. So you know what you need to sip on the next time you plan on getting healthier and fitter. For the uninitiated, turmeric tea is prepared by adding one or two spoons of turmeric in a cup of water and let it heat for a while. You can add ginger, lemon or honey as you prefer and sip on it once it cools down a little.
