Swimming doesn't just make for a really fun activity but it also works great as a form of exercise. And it works even better in strengthening your core. Most swimmers have a very strong core owing to all the exercises they do while they swim. So, if you're looking for something similar too, here are a few in-water exercises that will help you strengthen your core.

Vertical Kick - For this, you'll have to swim to the deep end. Then make sure your body is absolutely straight which means no hunching and no bending your knees. Put your hands above your head and clasp them together. Then, start kicking your feet. Start slowly by doing the exercise for 10 seconds first, then move on to 20 seconds and then finally 30 seconds.

Breaststroke Pull With Flutter Kick - This happens to be one of the most difficult in-water exercises. For this, you'll have to combine a breaststroke with flutter kicks. So while you do your breaststroke you will also have to make sure that you are kicking your feet. Throughout the exercise, make sure that your flutter kicks don't stop.

Body Dolphin on Your Side With Fins - It's best that you opt for this exercise in a long pool so that the walls don't disrupt your form. This exercise requires you to use short fins while keeping one arm extended in front of you while you swim. Keep switching your arms as you come up to take a breath. You could even opt for flutter kicks in between.

Well, now that you know what exercises you can opt for, try them and see how well they work. Stay tuned for more updates.
