These simple exercises can help get rid of back pain

Lower back pain can become quite a nuisance because it starts hindering in your daily tasks like bending down to pick something up. While it is always best to get some rest and consult your GP, here are a few simple exercises you can try at home.



Back extensions:

Lie face down on your forearms and keep your elbows bent at your sides. Then keeping your neck straight, arch our back up by pushing down on your hands. Keep breathing and hold this position for 10 seconds. Then return to the starting position. This exercise is one of the most famous ones when it comes to curing back pain.



Back stretch:

Lie on your back and keep your hands above your head. Slowly bend your knees and roll them to one side while keeping your feet on the ground. Hold for 10 seconds and then do it on the other side. Do this three times for each side.



One-leg stand:

Hold onto something for support and then bend one leg up behind you as you stand. Hold for five seconds and then repeat this process three times for each leg.
