Caffeine is an anxiogenic drug, which can cause a lot of people to feel anxious and on edge. You need to reassess just how much of it you are drinking. If it's causing you issues like depression and insomnia, then it's time to put down the coffee cup and replace it with something that can help you de-stress. If it's too hard to give up coffee, you can try decaf.
