From indulging in hair spa to re-bonding the hair to our liking, we have done so much to our poor locks. All of these experiments sadly turns our hair into a dry and brittle mess. It might look healthy but little do we notice is how it gets weaker from inside. In the long run, our hair becomes more prone to hair fall and other complications. If you want to put an end to your dry brittle hair then we have the perfect fix for you. Follow these.

Start by cutting your dry ends of the hair. These dead-looking ends of the hair are usually the root cause of split-ends that needs to be cut. Sometimes, annual hair trims are not enough. According to hair experts, you should cut your hair every three to six months.

Dryness and hair fizz are the signs of dehydrated hair. Begin with altering your hair care routine to lock in moisture to your hair. Sulphate-free hair care products are great to combat fizz. Conditioner is super important and should not be skipped. Hair oiling can also be beneficial. However, people with dandruff must avoid oiling their scalp.

A lot of these signs of dryness is caused due to the heat damage from the styling tools. It is best to give your hair some break from the styling it and if you must use such tools then make sure you’re using a heat protectant spray.

Another solution is to use silk pillowcases to prevent damaging brittle hair. It also helps to manage the hair better and hence less breakage. Some people also find bonnets to be helpful for tangled strands.
