People on the internet lost its mind this year when a gorilla named Harambe was killed in Cincinnati Zoo in May. In bid to save the child, who fell in the gorilla enclosure, the zoo authorites shot Harambe. The video of the shooting became viral, enraged the of and became one of the most popular memes of 2016.


However, recently the people of Delhi came togther and are now holding a candle light vigil in the memory of Harambe. The event is called Candlelight vigil for Harambe, and the Facebook page has almost 330 confirmed partcipants. The vgil will be held on October 15, and is a part of a parliamentary debate competition.
