While you might already be trying your hand at a variety of dishes during the holy time of Ramadan, let's just say you haven't tried anything until you've tried 'Dahi Kabab'. It's amongst the most versatile dishes you can try. It goes well as a standalone starter, you can eat it with your rotis or you can even team it with some dal rice. The bottom line is, it tastes amazing! So, if you're looking to try it out, here's the recipe.

The ingredients you'll need are Cottage cheese - 200 gm, Onion - 1 chopped, Fried Brown Onion - 2 tbsp (paste), Red chili powder - 1 tsp, Garam masala powder - ¼ tsp, Salt to taste, Green chili - 1 (chopped), Green coriander - 2 tbsp (chopped), Mint leaves - (chopped), Curd - 1 cup, Bread crumbs - 300 gms, Cashew nut - 2tbsp (powder), Eggs - 2 (beaten), Crumbs for coating and Oil - 2 tbsp.

In a bowl, grate and add the cottage cheese and then add all the other ingredients except for the eggs and bread crumbs. Mix all of these ingredients well. Use your hands to make small balls from the mixture and then flatten them into patties. Once done, dip the patties in the eggs and then roll the patties in the breadcrumbs. Add some oil to a frying pan and once hot, place the patties in the pan. Deep fry the patties until they're golden brown and then take them out. Your kababs are now ready to be eaten. Serve hot and enjoy!
