When we say the words beauty ingredients, things like aloe vera, turmeric, vitamin C, Multani mitti etc are the first ones to pop into your mind. And while these are all pretty common beauty and skincare ingredients, did you know that plenty of skincare products also use some really weird ingredients. Bee venom - Yikes! While honey is a pretty common skincare ingredient, turns out bee venom can work wonders too! From moisturising and hydrating your face to getting rid of premature signs of ageing like wrinkles and fine lines, bee venom can do it all! So, the next time you want to pick out a product that will give your skin a youthful glow, try to look for one with bee venom!

Caviar - We've all heard of exquisite fish eggs called caviar that supposedly taste like heaven. But did you know that they're also used in skincare products? They can help improve your skin's texture by reducing wrinkles, making your skin more elastic and also regenerating your skin. You can either apply caviar to your skin directly or you could opt for skincare products that contain it as an ingredient.

Bird poop - Before you go all eww what are they talking about, hear us out. Bird poop contains urea and this ingredient is used in face wash and moisturisers. It contains properties that can help your skin retain its moisture and it can also help add shine to dull skin. Well, since it is difficult to obtain bird poop, most skincare companies nowadays use synthetic urea. So, don't worry about finding this ingredient in your skincare product.
