These days anxiety has become a prevailing problem amongst people. Our hectic lifestyles and schedules make it difficult for us to stay stress-free for long. Methods such as biofeedback, mindfulness, yoga, and hypnosis are turning out to be quite resourceful in cutting down anxiety especially amongst adolescents. Researchers at Wolters Kluwer Health have stated that treatments like behavioural therapy and antidepressant medications have limitations. You cannot only use these methods in continuance for long periods of time. And with today’s stress levels, the young generation is more prone to anxiety that lasts for 6 months or longer.

However, new research has proved that methods like meditation and yoga can be used without limits to cure anxiety in people. Biofeedback techniques help individuals increase self-awareness and physical control. Mind and body therapies also promote self-regulation and positive thinking to help promote self-control, physical health, and emotional well-being. These also work better since they can be seen as a more affordable method to combat anxiety and stress. Well, looks like you should start focusing on some meditation if you suffer from anxiety.
