This is because of all the heat that accumulates on your head, the sweat and the dirt that settles in. All of which leaves your hair feeling oily and flat. But it's not possible to take a hair wash every second day, rather you shouldn't. So what should be done then? We've got you a solution - just make yourself some dry shampoo at home! Yes, that's very much possible and also very easy. If you use these DIY dry shampoo for hair care in summer, you won't have to wash your hair every alternate day and you'll still have fresh hair for a few more days.

Here's how you make some DIY dry shampoos:

- Recipe 1: You need - 1/4th tbsp cinnamon powder, 1/8th cup corn starch and 1/8th cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
Mix all the ingredients in a container all too well. Use this mixture on the roots of your hair with the help of your fingers. This recipe works wonders for darker hair. You can even add a few drops of essential oil if you like. The cornstarch will help in absorbing the the excess oil from the scalp and leave your hair looking fresh. The cocoa powder doesn't leave any kind of residue on your dark hair and the combination of it with cinnamon powder makes your hair smell great.

- Recipe 2: You need - 1 cup baking soda and 1 cup ground oatmeal.
Mix these ingredients in a bowl to combine them well. Baking soda works wonders as an absorbent powder to remove excess oil from your scalp. It leaves your hair fresher and even eliminates odour. Oatmeal powder on the other hand has anti-bacterial properties and contains antioxidants that will take good care of your scalp. You can even replace oatmeal powder with cornstarch if you wish.

- Recipe 3: You need - 2 tbsps pf cornstarch, 2 tbsps of rice flour and 4-5 drops of essential oil.
Mix all of these ingredients and convert it into a nice dry shampoo mixture. Use your fingers to apply it on the roots of your hair. The rice flour will strengthen your mane and protect your hair from harmful UV rays. Cornstarch eliminates the grease and oil on your hair.
