When it comes to makeup and all things beauty, we've realised that the Internet is flooded with information, however, one thing that most beauty blogs tend to miss out or ignore is perfumes. Scents make for a very important part in our lives. Many people even pick out a perfume for the day based on how they are feeling on a particular day. Well today, we're here to guide you on all things 'perfume' and 'scent'! From how to pick the right one for you to which scents tend to last longer, we've answered all your scent-related questions down below. Read on to know more...

Which fragrance to wear?

According to us, if you love it, we say… wear it! And if you like what someone else is wearing, then the possibility of you wanting it and it suiting you will be even more! Go with your instinct on this one…

How can one make a scent last long?

This depends on person to person. However, we do know of a trick and it might help. Try layering your scents with body mists and creams underneath before spraying yourself with the perfume, this will help it last longer.

When it comes to fragrances, are there any ‘trending’ scents?

There isn’t really anything like ‘trends’ in perfumes. However, if you like a new scent, you should go ahead and try it out. A scent you like is highly personalised and unique so if something that is so-called trending doesn’t sit well with you, chances are that you will end up being disgusted by how you smell all day long.

For people who like to keep it simple and easy, what is the one classic scent that will never go out of fashion?

Soft fragrances will never go out of fashion. Now, soft to you can mean ‘rosy’ and to us can mean ‘lemony’, but, none the less, subtle perfumes tend to attract many. Something like Jo Malone London’s Jasmine Sambac & Marigold is also a beautiful statement fragrance because it is a delicate blend of both, white florals and green soft florals that give you a scent that's kind of a modern classic.
