The much-awaited Parineeti Chopra and Ajay Devgn starrer 'Golmaal Again' gets delayed, will avert a clash with Amitabh Bachchan’s 'Aankhen 2'. 'Aankhen 2' and 'Golmaal Again', both were to release during Diwali, however, 'Aankhen 2' producer Gaurang Doshi confirmed that the release of 'Golmaal Again' has now been pushed ahead.
Informing about the development, Gaurang said, "We start rolling from April 20 and are planning to release it in Diwali. It’s getting a solo release. We had heard that 'Golmaal' was coming but now they have delayed it."
First in the franchise, 'Aankhen' released 2002 and saw Amitabh Bachchan play a negative role in the film. Throwing light on Big B's character in 'Aankhen 2', Gaurang revealed, "We have worked really hard on the styling. Though Bachchan will play his age, it will still be a unique look since he will look quite young in the film. The look will go along with his character, which is that of a man with black humour."
Gaurang further went on to add, "His body language will also be different, and he will be seen as a style icon in this film. His hairstyle is going to be different to suit his age. His whole wardrobe is going to be very expensive. I can assure you everybody will freak out when they will see the first poster of the film."
'Aankhen 2' is to be helmed by Anees Bazmee, and the film also stars Esha Gupta, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Arshad Warsi. Unlike the first, this film will not see Akshay Kumar play one of the lead as the actor had prior commitments.
