Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez’s sizzling chemistry in the trailer of their upcoming movie, ‘A Gentleman’, has become the talk of the town. However, it seems like these hot-hot vibes in the movie just got pruned by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Apparently, the Censor Board has demanded the makers to chop off the duo’s passionate kiss in the movie. “The lead pair’s kiss just went on and on unnecessarily, just like the smooch in the James Bond film and Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. We’ve asked them to take it easy. The film is titled ‘A Gentleman’, but the hero seems to forget his manners while kissing,” revealed a source.

Apparently, the kiss is lasted longer than all other Bollywood screen kisses including the record-holding Aamir-Karisma smooch in ‘Raja Hindustani’. In what could be regarded as Pahlaj Nihalani’s final goodbye gift to Bollywood as the CBFC chief, the Censor Board asked the makers to cut the kiss by nearly 70 per cent. They further demanded a minor audio cut before granting the movie a U/A certificate.
