The recent Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal shook not just the Hollywood industry but also hit the Bollywood industry as quite a shocker and every since several entertainers have come out to voice their opinions on the matter. To make it to that list today we've got Aamir Khan talking about the issue and the actor had much to say.

He said, "I think sexual harassment is a very sad thing to happen to anyone, irrespective of what your sex is. Sexual harassment is just not on." "I understand that people are free to be romantically involved with whoever they want. But you cannot pressure a person into being with you physically. It happens not only in films but in all walks of life and is very unfortunate," Aamir continued.

On the issue of actors having a responsibility to address these issues, he said, "Creative people do have a role to play in showcasing men and women in a manner that influences people in the right way. I do believe we have some sort of responsibility in that." He added, "I am hoping that things will change in the future for the better. It takes time both for the people and the society to change."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir is currently in Thailand shooting for 'Thugs of Hindostan' which is slated to release on the 7th of November, 2018.
