Aamir Khan: Please ask Karan to invite me on ‘Koffee With Karan’

This season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ has not been as gossipy as the last few. Celebs, on the show, admitted that their previous scandalous revelations have created a lot of hullabaloos and that they would prefer to avoid a repetition of that this season.

While many celebrities have opted not to appear on the show, surprisingly Aamir Khan wants Karan Johar to invite him for this season. Aamir made his debut on the 'KWK' couch in season 4 along with wife Kiran Rao. At that time Aamir admitted that he ignored the invitation for last few seasons because he didn't like the idea of being on a chat show.

But, looks like Aamir has changed his mind! The actor, at a recent event, expressed that he would like Karan to invite him for this season of 'KWK'. Aami said, “I would definitely want to go on the show, but he is not calling me. Please ask Karan to invite me.”

However, a source close to the show revealed that Aamir is very much invited to the show, and he will be shooting for the episode this weekend. The source said, “Unlike last season, this time Aamir will appear solo on the show (joined for a short segment by his’ Dangal’ daughters Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh). It will be aired next Sunday after the episode with Salman Khan and his brothers Sohail and Arbaaz. It makes sense since it’s the time when Aamir’s film ‘Dangal’ is releasing. Several other episodes that have been shot — the ones featuring Sania Mirza-Farah Khan, Shahid-Mira, Kareena-Sonam, and Kapil Sharma — are still to be scheduled.”
