Aditya Pancholi receives extortion calls and messages?

Actor Aditya Pancholi has recently been making the headlines owing to Kangana Ranaut's allegations against him. But now it seems that the actor is in the limelight for an entirely different reason. Aditya approached the Versova police on Saturday complaining that he has been receiving extortion calls from someone, demanding Rs 25 lakh. The police said they were making inquiries and are yet to register an FIR.
In his complaint, Aditya stated that someone who introduced himself as Munna Pujari has been calling him up since October 18. Apparently, the suspect has also been demanding for money through messages and has surprisingly even given a bank account number to Aditya and asked him to transfer money to the account.
"We have received an application from the actor. No FIR has been registered yet and we are making inquiries," said Kiran Kale, senior inspector, Versova police station. Simultaneously, the city crime branch's anti-extortion cell has also swung into action and has begun a parallel probe into it.
