Ajay Devgn gets candid about his walkout and his alleged vow to never return to ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’

Recently it was reported that ‘Baadshaho’ actor Ajay Devgn had vowed to never make an appearance on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. The reports suggested that Ajay, who along with the team was present on the sets to promote his upcoming project ‘Baadshaho’ left from the sets as Kapil didn’t turn up for the shoot. The buzz is that Kapil was partying till the wee hours and so wasn’t able to make it to the shoot on time.

However, in a recent interaction, Ajay said that while he did leave the sets, he has not taken a vow to never return. The actor admitted that while he does not know the reasons behind the comic’s absence, he did leave the sets because Kapil hadn’t arrived. Ajay asserted that though Kapil has been dealing with health issues for quite some time now, it is not certain whether his prolonged illness was the reason behind his absence.

Clearing the air at an event, Ajay said that he believes that media is the reason behind most of the buzz around the story. The actor added, “Shah Rukh Khan has also not said anywhere that he will never come on the show, and neither have I. The statement has been given by the media.”

When asked if this delay happened because Kapil now considers himself as a big star, Ajay explained, “It’s not like that. Many shows have got cancelled in the past. And he is not keeping well for quite sometime… I don’t know what happened.” The actor further added, “We left because he hadn’t reached… When I will talk to him next, I will get to know the reason.”
