Akshay Kumar: Salman and I have utmost respect for each other's time and talent

Recently there were reports which suggested that Salman Khan backed out of a project which he had announced in collaboration with Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar. While Salman and Karan were to co-produce the film, Akshay was to play the lead. Apparently, the film is based on the 'Battle Of Saragarhi', and there are two other Bollywood films announced on the same subject.

Salman's close friend and acquaintance Ajay Devgn too has announced a film based on the battle of Saragarhi. Rumour mills were abuzz that Salman backed out of the project because of his friendship with Ajay. However, Salman took to Twitter and refuted the rumours. Post Salman, Akshay too took to Twitter to confirm that the film was very much on track.

During an interview with a leading daily, Akshay spoke about his association with Salman. When asked about the collaboration, Akshay said, "Each and every partnership with Salman, over the years, has been epic in every way. This film will be no different. We have the utmost respect for each other's time and talent. Plus, the subject of this film has all of us excited, something I'm truly waiting to start."

Well, not only Akshay, we too are waiting for Akshay and Salman to start the project soon!
