Alia Bhatt: Was punished for sleeping in the school washroom

On the occasion of Children’s Day many celebrities shared memories and pictures from their childhood. With every word carefully woven, it felt that as though they relived these memories as they spoke about them.
Alia Bhatt was no different as she spoke about an incident she remembered from her schooling days. The 23-year-old actress revealed that she was once punished by her teacher for sleeping inside the school’s washroom. The actress said that she had a habit of sleeping in her school and that she would often go to school and sleep in the bathroom. Alia said, “I used to go to school and sleep in the bathroom. Then one day my teacher went to check why this girl is missing, and caught me sleeping in the washroom.”
As a punishment, Alia was asked to wipe the desk for a week. And while she did end up wiping the desk, she also said that one shouldn’t go to school and end up sleeping in the washrooms. Alia added, “It is a very bad thing to do. So please don’t sleep in class, instead, sleep at home.”
