Anushka Sharma: I would love to back any web series

Anushka Sharma has been cutting some edge with content driven films that her production house has been backing in the recent times. The actress, through her production house, aims at promoting young talent in the industry. While the actress has broadened her perspective in terms of film choices, Anushka reveals she has no plans as such to foray in television.

Ask if she would host or be a part of television reality shows, talking to a leading daily the actress quips, "I am not interested in hosting or judging any Indian reality shows. I have been offered a few reality shows, but I don’t think I want to do any of it right now. This is not the zone I want to get into, currently."

However, the actress reveals she will be more than happy to be part of a web series or dabble in the digital space. "I am okay with doing anything that has great content. But I think I will be more keen to do a web series because that will be more progressive. And it has got to do a lot with how our world has suddenly become digital," added the actress.

"I would love to back any web series if I genuinely believe in the content. There are so many stories to be told and now cinema is not the only medium. There are various other ways to reach out to people and web series is one of them," concluded Anushka as she signed off.
