Arjun to break his streak of not working with the same actress twice

The last we saw of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra together in a film was when the actor made his Bollywood debut in 'Ishaqzaade'. The two with their rugged looks and acting skills managed to woo the audience as a never-seen-before on-screen pair. Not too long ago, media largely spoke about Arjun's streak of not having repeated any of his co-actress in his films, however, looks like the streak is soon going to break.
If rumours are anything to go by then, Arjun and Parineeti will soon star together in a movie. The two have apparently signed on for Dibakar Banerjee’s next. Reports suggest that the movie is an action thriller and Arjun will portray the role of a Haryanvi cop. The makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the same. Parineeti has been approached to play the female lead, while the actress has green-lighted the project, she is yet to sign on the dotted lines.
The film is to be produced by Yash Raj Films, and the makers are deciding to roll out by mid-2017. On the work front, Arjun's film 'Half Girlfriend' alongside Shraddha Kapoor is to release on 19th May. Parineeti is looking forward to the release of 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' opposite Ayushmann Khurrana and has also signed on the dotted lines for 'Golmaal 4'.
