Ashutosh Gowariker to cast Arjun Kapoor in his next

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker is all set to return after two years, his last film was ‘Mohenhjo Daro’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde. He will be making a war historical movie, and it will go on floors later this year. The film will feature Arjun Kapoor as the lead, he will play a Maratha warrior, but the leading lady is still not yet finalised, but it has been stated that Sanjay Dutt will play a significant role in the film.


The source said, “Last week, Sanjay and Arjun had a long meeting with Ashutosh at his Khar office and the trio locked the details of the project. The script is in its final stages of fine-tuning and recce has been underway for the last few months.”


Apparently, Sara Ali Khan, who is busy shooting for her Bollywood debut film ‘Kedarnath’ alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, was seen outside Ashutosh Gowariker’s office earlier this week. And the filmmaker also visited the sets of her film in Mumbai, because of which there were speculations that she will be the leading lady in the film opposite Arjun Kapoor.


On the work front Ashutosh will produce a Hindi film which will be a remake of Paresh Rawal’s play ‘Dear Father’, apparently it is also being remade in Marathi, where Ajay Devgn has produced the and the film is titled ‘Aapla Manus’.
