Bipasha Basu’s film career may have taken a back seat for now and perhaps for good reason. The Bong actress is currently busy being a dotting bridesmaid as her sister gets married today.
Giving a nod to the usual pinks-n-pastels-for-bridesmaids trend, the actress donned a powder pink lehenga by Dolly J studio. The lehenga featured intricate zardosi work and appliqué work. The lehenga’s powder pink hue beautifully complemented her olive toned skin, resulting in a look that’s ethereal, sophisticated and almost breathtaking.
She styled her look with traditional kundan necklace and a mangtikka by Falguni Mehta. She kept things from going over the top by tying her long tresses in a sleek bun, which was adorned with elegant white flowers and pearl clip ons and wearing basic diamond studs for earrings instead of a long, elaborated pair of earrings.
The entire looked spelled sophistication, but what took things up a notch was the minimal, flawless makeup! Basu was sporting the most subtle but beautiful champagne toned highlight on her cheeks and a diffused winged eyeliner for drama, but not quite. Her lashes weren’t va-va-vroom but voluminous enough and lips shined beautifully in a pink hue. Her red bindi was a sweet personal touch that showed off her happy marital status.
