Bollywood comes in defense as Mahira Khan gets shamed

Earlier in the morning today, pictures of Bollywood hunk Ranbir Kapoor with Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan went viral on the internet. The two were spotted smoking on the streets of New York and it seemed like they were having a good time. The pictures reignited rumours of their alleged relationship that had sparked post an event they had attended earlier this year in Dubai.
While Ranbir looked cool in a casual grey t-shirt and comfortable pants, Mahira looked like a darling in a white backless skater dress. However, her conduct and manner did not go down too well with twitterati who bashed her for ‘forgetting her roots and culture'.

Following the backlash, Parineeti Chopra was asked how she felt about the whole situation. To this, she said, “It’s unfair. Today thanks to social media, everything gets blown out of proportion.”
