Box Office report: Kangana’s ‘Simran’ races ahead of Farhan’s ‘Lucknow Central’

On Friday, 15th September, two movies hit the silver screens. One being Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Simran’ and the other being Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Lucknow Central’. Both the movies have done considerably well and the Box Office reports for the opening weekends of the two movies is out now.

According to movie critic and analyst Taran Adarsh, Kangana’s ‘Simran’ grossed Rs. 2.77 crores on its first day, but registered a 35.74 per cent growth over the next day to earn Rs. 3.76 crores on Saturday. Its total collection has come up to Rs. 6.53 crores in two days. As for ‘Lucknow Central’, Adarsh reports that the movie earned Rs. 2.04 crores on Friday and Rs. 2.82 crores on Saturday, achieving a total of Rs. 4.86 crores.
