Deepika Padukone: Working with Vishal Bhardwaj will be extremely challenging

As reported earlier, Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone are all set to star together in ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's untitled next. This will be the second time that Deepika and Irrfan will be seen sharing screen space after they starred together in Shoojit Sircar's 'Piku'.

The film is said to be based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai'. Recently, Irrfan too spoke about the film with Deepika, however, the actor didn't want to reveal much as he waited for an official announcement to be made by the producers. And now, Deepika speaking to an agency threw some light on her next with Vishal. Talking about the director, she said, "I haven't worked with him yet so I can't talk much. But as an audience, I can say it is fascinating to see the kind of films he does. As an actor, I would love to work with him. It will be extremely challenging and very exciting to be working with him."

Reportedly the actress will play mafia queen Rahima Khan, who was also popularly known as Sapna Didi, while Irrfan will play a local gangster, who is in love with her and helps her in her mission to eliminate Dawood Ibrahim.
