Did Sridevi avoid sharing stage with Malaika because of Arjun Kapoor?

At a recently held award function in city, veteran actress Sridevi was all set to present an award for a segment. However, on being informed that she will be presenting the award alongside Malaika Arora, Sridevi reportedly put her foot down against the proposition.

Sridevi's step-son, Arjun Kapoor is allegedly in a romantic relationship with Malaika Arora. This apparently ticked the actress off as she did not want to be seen sharing the stage with her stepson's rumoured romantic flame. Considering the kind of relationship that Arjun and Sridevi share, and also the fact that Malaika is on a brink of divorce, Sridevi decided to not make an appearance in the same frame.
