Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmaavat' is finally releasing and its release has already caused a stir in the industry. A lot of films had to change their release dates to avert a clash with not just 'Padmaavat' but other films as well. Tiger Shroff’s 'Baaghi 2' has been preponed to March 30, instead of its original plan (April 28) to avoid a clash with Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth’s '2.0'. Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic was then moved to June 29. This happened because the production house which backs both 'Baaghi 2' and the Dutt biopic didn't want the projects to clash together.

But this decision of theirs also led to a clash between two biopics. Diljit Dosanjh starrer 'Soorma' which has the star essaying the role of ace hockey player Sandeep Singh had also picked the same date for its release. But now there's news that the makers of 'Soorma' have decided to push their release date. Confirming the same Diljit said, “I’m not aware but I have heard that it will probably release on July 6, though the date is yet to be finalised. The producers will know better.” Well, we hope this clears things out for the two films. Stay tuned for more updates.
