South superstar Rajinikanth recently announced his entry into the field of politics. The actor has taken the field over by storm just like he did with acting. His film 'Kaala Karikaalan's' teaser came out yesterday and in the very last bit the actor is seen saying, "Indha Karikaalan oda muzhu rowdy thanatha neenga pakala la, paapinga (You have not seen Karikaalan, the complete rowdy yet. You will)." That itself looks like a glimpse of the killer instinct he could summon. On Monday evening, Rajinikanth gave a speech that was both powerful and blunt.

In his speech, he positioned himself as the inheritor to the MGR legacy. In fact, even the occasion was perfect for him to do so. After all, he was giving the speech at the statue inauguration of the late chief minister at the MGR Educational and Research Institute in Chennai. "No one can become another MGR. But I believe the people's rule he provided can be done by me as well," Rajinikanth said. Well, it certainly looks like the actor is playing the MGR card to win over the audience. Stay tuned for more updates.
