'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' trailer: Nothing like your run of the mill romantic Bollywood film

For the longest time we were left in the dark about Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'. While the audience was left wondering what the film was about, the makers have finally released the trailer of the film and let's just say, it was worth the wait. From the trailer, one thing is evident. 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' is most definitely not your typical run of the mill romantic Bollywood film.
As the trailer begins, we catch a glimpse of what looks like any other beautiful romantic story. But as the trailer progresses, it is evident that the film delves a lot deeper into relationships, cast, creed and religion.
The trailer starts off with a narration by Rajkummar Rao who asks the audience to watch his play 'with their hearts and not with their brains'. Then, we are shown an innocent and loving Sonam Kapoor who keeps imagining what her love life will be like. Her parents who are looking for a suitable groom, find Rajkummar Rao to be perfect for her. But soon she reveals her preference which leaves her family in a state of shock.
What's even more amazing is that for the first time, the audience will get to see real-life father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor on-screen together. The romantic drama also stars Juhi Chawla, Regina Cassandra, and Madhumalti Kapoor. Directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, the film is all set to hit the big screens on February 1, 2019.
