Schulen Fernandes for Wendell Rodricks presents THREADS OF DESIRE at BOMBAY TIMES FASHION WEEK 2017. The collection is a celebration of environment-friendly cottons dyed with natural dyes of Indigo, Manjista, leaf and bark extract colours.
Using a variety of flattering silhouettes, innovative cholis options and hand woven saris, the THREADS OF DESIRE collection comprises three dozen ensembles in the celebrated Goan designer's signature minimalist, resort and eco-sensitive style. Schulen Fernandes drapes saris with a difference and presents a line of creative garments in earthy hues of ivory, sage green, indigo, madder red and black. The cottons include the unbaled Malkha from Hyderabad, Mundu weaves from Kerala, cotton linens from Bengal and the celebrated Kunbi weave from Goa.
