Exactly three days ago, the news of Vivek Oberoi starring in a biopic of our current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi got out and the news spread like wildfire. Cut to today, after tickling the audience’s anticipation, the makers finally resealed the first poster of the film.

Vivek Oberoi, who was last seen in 2017 film, Bank Chor would be playing the titular role of PM Narendra Modi. The actor took to Twitter to share the first look and tweeted, “We humbly ask for your prayers and blessings on this incredible journey."

In the poster, Vivek is seen clad in a yellow kurta with the backdrop of the tri-colour. The poster also boasts the film’s tagline, "Deshbhakti ki meri shakti hai." In an attempt to reach all parts of the country, the poster is released in 27 different languages.

With high-grade prosthetic makeup, Vivek is almost unrecognizable in the poster. It would be interesting to see how he portrays the role of the PMO.

The film will be directed by Omung Kumar who has previously directed hit biopics like Mary Kom and Sarbjit.

Interestingly, Vivek wasn’t the first choice to play the role. He was able to bag the role only after veteran actor Paresh Rawal roped out due to personal reasons.

The shooting for the film will start from mid-January 2019 and will be shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, among other locations in the country, over a period of a few months.
