The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 7th of January at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and yes, there will be a live broadcast of the entire show! Make sure to catch it.

The months of December and January are the best? Do you know why? Well, simply because it’s the season for award functions and, inspirational speeches and of course, and most importantly, it’s the time we get to spot our favourite celebrities all decked up in their finery. And today, we’ve got you’ll everything there is to know about the 75th Golden Globes. The award ceremony will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on the 7th of January, 2018.

Seth Meyers will take the baton from Jimmy Fallon and host the ceremony this year. “We’ve got a lot to talk about,” Meyers said in one promo for the ceremony, hinting that he won’t be shying away from challenging subjects during the show. Television shows like ‘Big Little Lies’ and ‘This Is Us’ have been nominated as also several of your favourite movies like ‘Dunkirk’ and ‘The Post’.

What’s new about the ceremony this time around? Multiple high-profile actresses are reportedly planning to wear black to the ceremony to protest sexual harassment in Hollywood. The list of those will include Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone and Meryl Streep, among other women. Reports also indicate that many male actors, including Dwayne Johnson, intend to wear the dark hue in solidarity.
