Sanjay Dutt has been waiting to make his comeback on the silver screen and wants it to be with a right film. Sanjay was slated to make his comeback with Siddharth Anand’s next, but when the project got indefinitely delayed, he signed on 'Marco Bhau' which was going to be Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sister Shelly Dhar’s directorial debut. However, with Shelly still working on the film's script, Sanjay will make his comeback in Omung Kumar's father-daughter revenge drama titled 'Bhoomi'. The makers of 'Bhoomi' plan to begin shooting for the film by the end of January and Sanjay is leaving no stone unturned to prep for his role. Talking about Sanjay's prep for the film, producer Sandeep Singh spoke to a leading tabloid, and revealed, "The film’s story had been with us for three-four years but we were waiting for the right actor. When Sanjay heard the script, he decided that Bhoomi should be his comeback film. The last time Sanjay had a drink was at the Bachchans’ Diwali party. He has sworn off alcohol ever since till the film is completely ready."

Sandeep further said that Sanjay makes sure he hits the gym at 5:30 in the morning. He added, "We are taking several of his assistants to Agra with us and setting up a gym in his hotel room so he doesn’t lose time. We have also hired a trainer from UP so that he gets the Agra accent right. Sanjay sits with the writer and director to work on the script. He is also taking active interest in the casting as the actress who will play his onscreen daughter is yet to be cast."

This film is to be shot in Agra and will see Sanjay play the role of UP native. With Sanjay going an extra mile to prep for his role in the film. 'Bhoomi' is sure going to be on our must watch list!
