Here’s what Parineeti Chopra’s stylist has to say about her ‘Namaste England’ look

Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Namaste England’ has been creating quite the buzz for some time now. While people are already applauding the actress’ acting skills in the trailer, another thing they’re absolutely in love with is her vibrant attires in the film. Designer Sanjana Batra’s Patiala Salwar combos were Parineeti’s personal choice. The designer claims to have found Parineeti’s inputs on her character’s appearance very helpful. They have played around with authentic Punjabi silhouettes, colours to create a young, vibrant, ethnic chic look.

Talking about the actress’ look, Sanjana said, “We stuck to bright happy colours in traditional silhouettes and diversified with fun boho jackets with an indie influence for her character as seen in Punjab. For the London bit, we chose to transition the characters way of dressing – lot more muted in terms of colours, slightly older and more elegant but with western silhouettes.”

In the film, the actress will be seen sporting several bright colours and fabrics that originated in Punjab, and are worn locally. This is why it will also be relatable to the youth watching the film. Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film is slated to hit the theatres on 19 October, 2018.
