By now, if there is one thing we know, it is that our celebrities leave no stone unturned when it comes to getting married. From dreamy destinations to ostentatious trousseaus and whatnot, they have it all perfected to look like a wedding straight out of a fairytale. Well, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's will be just one more of those. And today, we've brought you all the information we have on it!
A leading daily recently reported that Sonam and Anand will tie the knot over a two-day ceremony on the 11th and 12th of May in Geneva. “The date and venue for the wedding have been locked and mass bookings for flights are presently underway. Her dad Anil Kapoor is personally making phone calls to invite guests. There will be sangeet and mehendi ceremonies, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding,” a source from the team planning the wedding told a leading daily.
The families were considering Jaipur and Udaipur as the destination, however, the couple has zeroed in on Geneva as Sonam was recently in Geneva for a brand commitment when she decided that the city was the perfect venue for her wedding to Anand. Sonam who was accompanied by sister Rhea Kapoor checked out various locations in the city before narrowing down on the venue. “The nuptials will be preceded by an engagement ceremony attended by the family’s inner circle but the venue for that is presently not known,” the source added.
