Actor Irrfan Khan who won the Best Actor award for his latest film ‘Hindi Medium’ had declared earlier that producer Dinesh Vijan is planning for a sequel for the film and will announce it in a few weeks time if everything will work out right. As per reports now the sequel will on floors in August and Irrfan will continue his role as Raj Batra, a rich Delhi-based businessman and whose life goals are to fulfill his wife’s dreams and get their five-year-old daughter Pia admitted in an English medium school even though they both have studied in Hindi Medium school.

The actress of the film Saba Qamar who played the role of Irrfan’s wife said that even after the Uri attack and all the tension mounting between India and Pakistan she would like to be a part of the sequel, “After the massive success of Hindi Medium, the producers are all set for a sequel. I hope Irrfan and I get to work in the second installment of the blockbuster.” But as per reports, the actress would not be a part of the sequel.

A source informed, “The story flash-forwards by a decade so five-year-old Pia will be in her teens now, around 15-16 years. The story will be a fresh take on the Indian educational system with little reference to the original.”

Director Saket Chaudhary said, “I have no idea about the film, I’m not a part of it.”
