Anurag Basu’s much awaited movie ‘Jagga Jasoos’, starring ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, is just a week away from its release and the whole team is currently busy with its promotions. However, a certain actor is miffed with the way the movie is getting promoted.

Govinda, who was initially roped in by the makers to play Ranbir’s missing father in the movie, had certain apprehensions about being on board as he felt he was too young to portray the father of a 30-year-old. However, Basu convinved him as in the movie Ranbir is playing a 17-year-old. But things took a turn when Govinda unceremoniously opted out of the movie as he felt the film and his role were not progressing as promised. Now, the fact that the makers are using his still from the movie for publicity hasn’t gone down too well with the actor.

“Arnold Schwarzenegger was supposed to play the villain against Rajinikanth in ‘2.0’. Would Akshay Kumar like it if this fact was played up everywhere?” asked the source. The makers later got Bengali actor Saswata Chatterjee to play Ranbir’s father, who played ‘Bob’, the assassin, in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahaani’.
