Here's why Varun Dhawan was overprotective towards Banita Sandhu

Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is all set to feature in his upcoming film 'October' and will soon start the promotions for the film. The film stars debutante Banita Sandhu opposite Varun and is helmed by Shoojit Sircar. Recently, the team of the film hosted a dinner party which saw several cast and crew members in attendance. While leaving the restaurant, Banita was surrounded by a hoard of paparazzi. But Varun soon came to her rescue. He guided Banita and made sure she reached her car safely.
The duo even shot for a calendar for the film. Talking about it, a source said, "Yesterday, we shot for 'October's' promotional campaign at a beautiful outdoor location that reminded everyone of the film's shoot. The pictures taken in natural light sans any props are looking superb and are totally in sync with the look and feel of the film with a vibe that's gonna stay with us for times to come."
