Irrfan Khan's doctor on his health: The chances of cure are very high

Everyone was shocked to hear that actor Irrfan Khan had been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour, a doctor now has stated that the rare disease is curable. On Friday Irrfan Khan took to his Twitter handle to address his health issue. He had tweeted with Margaret Mitchell quote. Irrfan's illness had left everyone wondering as to what the issue was and now, we finally know.
Now Dr. Saumitra Rawat has said that the disease is curable, Dr. Rawat said, "NeuroEndocrine Tumour is an abnormal growth of Neuroendo cells which are present in bodies. When there is an abnormal growth, then it forms a tumor - Normally seen in intestine, pancreas, lung, thyroid and other parts of the body". The Dr further added, "It depends on the location of the tumour, its size, and what is its mytotic index".
The Dr also said, "Depending on where the tumour is localized, you can take it out surgically and the chances of cure are very high.”
